Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Lotwise.
1. Platform description
Lotwise is a technology platform that enables users to purchase fractional shares ("lots") of verified real estate projects in Nigeria. Lotwise facilitates the connection between investors and property opportunities but does not itself own, develop, or manage the underlying properties.
2. Eligibility
To use Lotwise, you must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of Nigeria. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, including your legal name as it appears on official government documents.
3. Account and identity
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Lotwise collects identity information (name, phone number, NIN, bank account details) for compliance and security purposes. You agree that this information is accurate and matches your official records.
4. Investments
Purchasing lots on Lotwise constitutes a real financial commitment. All payments are processed through Paystack, a licensed Nigerian payment processor. Once a payment is confirmed, the investment is recorded and the lots are allocated to your account.
Lotwise does not guarantee returns on any investment. Projected ROI figures are estimates based on market analysis and are not guarantees of future performance. Real estate investments carry inherent risks including potential loss of capital.
5. Referral programme
Lotwise offers a referral programme where users can earn bonus credits by referring new investors. Referral bonuses are capped at a percentage of your total investment amount. Self-referral is not permitted. Lotwise reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time.
6. Withdrawals
Withdrawals of investment returns are subject to completion of full KYC verification (address verification and government ID). Withdrawal requests are processed to the bank account registered on your profile. Lotwise reserves the right to delay or refuse withdrawals where identity verification is incomplete.
7. Data and privacy
Your use of Lotwise is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Limitation of liability
Lotwise provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lotwise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your investments.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
10. Changes to these terms
Lotwise may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
